Cameron Ashley Building Products entered a distribution partnership with LP Building Solutions, adding SmartSide ExpertFinish engineered wood siding and coordinating accessories to the distributor’s portfolio of building materials products. All LP products available through Cameron Ashley will also be available for order on the company’s recently launched e-commerce website for delivery and curbside pickup.
“Our choice to partner with LP for their SmartSide ExpertFinish engineered wood products was an obvious one,” Cameron Ashley siding category merchant Chris Grube said in a news release. “Their products are well-known, durable, competitive, and stand up to the tough weather experienced in many of our locations.”
SmartSide ExpertFinish trim, siding, and soffit products will be stocked in select Cameron Ashley markets, with an intent to grow both products offered and locations stocked as demand grows amongst Cameron Ashley’s customers. LP products will begin arriving at select Cameron Ashley locations in April, according to the distributor.

South Carolina-based Cameron Ashley operates a network of more than 40 stocking distribution centers with a total storage footprint of over 4.2 million square feet in 20 states. Twenty-six of the company’s distribution centers are strategically located within 150 miles of the 25 largest metropolitan statistical areas in the country.
