Wholesale building products distributor BlueLinx Holdings appointed Todd Skaggs as the regional vice president for the West region, effective Aug. 7. Skaggs brings over two decades of experience in sales, distribution, and operational excellence to the role. The new regional vice president for the West region will report directly to president and CEO Shyam Reddy.
“I am eager to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact,” Skaggs said. “Working closely with Shyam and the leadership team, my focus will be on strengthening our branch teams and fostering a high-performance culture. Together, we will solidify BlueLinx’s position as a leading wholesale distributor of building products nationwide.”
Skaggs joins BlueLinx Holdings from Beacon Building Products, where has held leadership positions in roles of increasing responsibility from branch manager to vice president of the Pacific region over a span of fourteen years.

Marietta, Ga.-based BlueLinx distributes across 50 states to approximately 15,000 customers, including national home centers, pro dealers, cooperatives, specialty distributors, regional and local dealers, and industrial manufacturers.
