Beacon opened two greenfield locations in College Station, Texas, and Sherman, Texas. The branches establish the distributor’s service to both residential and non-residential customers in the Bryan-College Station and Sherman-Denison markets, according to Beacon.

“We look forward to introducing the Beacon customer experience to contractors in College Station and Sherman. Our team of building materials experts will help customers grow their businesses by saving time and operating more efficiently,” Jason Taylor, president of Beacon’s West division, said in a news release. “We are also proud to give back as we join the community by helping neighbors through our national partnership with Rebuilding Together.”

Both branches are stocked with roofing and complementary products, including Beacon’s TRI-BUILT brand. Contractors in the College Station and Sherman markets will have immediate access to the Beacon PRO+ digital platform, allowing them to manage their business online.

“This opening continues to demonstrate our commitment to making Ambition 2025 investments to drive above-market growth and operational excellence,” Julian Francis, Beacon president and CEO, said. “We intend to open approximately 15 locations this year to support our 2025 organic growth ambitions as well as talent development opportunities for the Beacon team.”

Herndon, Va.-based Beacon distributes roofing materials and complementary building products. The company operates over 500 branches throughout all 50 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces.
