US LBM, a distributor of specialty building materials, completed its second deal in the past week by acquiring Texas-based Nix Door and Hardware. The company provides custom building products and services to builders, remodelers, and homeowners in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Nix Door and Hardware provides distribution, sales, and installation services for windows, doors, and fireplaces to residential and commercial customers. The company also suppliers and installs exterior home faux stone veneer products and also offers security and automation systems to homeowners.
Nix will operate as part of US LBM’s Texas Building Supply, which services production, custom, multifamily, and commercial contractors across Texas. The division has locations in the Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio markets. The Texas Building Supply product and service portfolio includes lumber, engineered wood products, structural components, roofing, and siding in addition to design and installation services for custom and production millwork, stairs, and exteriors.
Earlier in the week, US LBM acquired Gregory Door & Window in Breckenridge, Co. US LBM offers a portfolio of specialty products, including windows, doors, millwork, wallboard, roofing, siding, engineered components, and cabinetry.
