Specialty building materials distributor US LBM acquired building products dealer Maner Builders Supply. The dealer operates locations in Augusta, Ga., Aiken, S.C., and Charleston, S.C. With the acquisition, US LBM now operates 22 locations across the Carolinas and Georgia.
Maner Builders Supply, founded in 1951, distributes an expansive line of specialty building products, including engineered lumber, wallboard, roofing, siding, decking, installed fencing, custom glass, windows, doors, and other materials to professional builders, contractors, and commercial builders. Frank Chandler will remain with Maner Builders Supply and will continue to lead day-to-day operations as president.

Gibson said in a news release. “The addition of Maner expands our portfolio and reach in the southeast, an important market for US LBM, and the company’s diverse mix of products and services complements our existing network of specialty building materials distributors in the region.”
Buffalo Grove, Ill.-based US LBM ranked 6th on the 2020 ProSales 100 and operates more than 250 locations across the United States. The distributor offers a portfolio of specialty products, including windows, doors, millwork, wallboard, roofing, siding, engineered components, and cabinetry.
