US LBM has expanded its Florida holdings by acquiring LouMac Distributors, a Fort Myers, Fla.-based provider of new and replacement windows and doors, US LBM announced today.
LouMac President Scott Myers and Vice President Lou Luongo and the rest of their team will continue running the company, which will continue using the LouMac name.
Originally focused on the Northeast and Midwest, US LBM has looked increasingly South lately. Since early 2014, this year's ProSales Dealer of the Year has acquired three Florida businesses--Jones Lumber, Rosen Materials, and Coastal Roofing Supply--and on Sept. 22 it announced the acquisition of GBS Building Supply of Greenville, S.C.
