Sunpro, a building materials supplier serving Utah and Idaho, acquired the assets of Nampa, Idaho-based Stone Lumber. Family-owned Stone Lumber, a hardware and supplies store, has served the home building community in the Nampa-Boise region since 1906.

"This acquisition officially brings Sunpro to the greater Boise area. As we partner with our sister company, Sunroc, we look forward to providing building materials to Sunroc customers and construction materials and services to Stone Lumber/Sunpro's customers," Greg Templeman, president of Sunpro, said in a prepared statement. "Stone Lumber's family ownership, core values, and quality of service mirror those of Sunpro, so it was a natural match."

Stone Lumber owner Monte Schlerf said he is confident Sunpro will build on the “values of honesty and integrity” that have been at the foundation of the company since its founding. Matt Hildebrant, a former store manager, has accepted a position with Sunpro as the location manager for the new Sunpro Nampa storefront. The organizational structure and employees of Stone Lumber will remain intact as the company is integrated with the larger Sunpro organizational structure.

Orem, Utah-based Sunpro (formerly Sunroc Building Materials), a subsidiary of Clyde Companies, ranked 30th on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating sales of $218.3 million in 2018.
