SRS Acquisition Corp. announced it opened a new location in Hartford, Conn., under the Pace Supply name. The location will service the Hartford and Springfield, Mass., markets and is the company's first foray into the New England market. The store will stock residential and commercial roofing products, siding, and windows.
With this new location, SRS Acquisition now operates 50 locations in 20 states, under various brand names. Pace Supply has locations in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
Andy Renna will serve as branch manager and brings more than 20 years of experience in the New England building supply industry.
"We are very excited to eclipse the 50 location mark with the opening of this new Pace location in Hartford," said SRS COO Dan Tinker. "At SRS we pride ourselves on having the most talented team of industry veterans and when people the caliber of Andy Renna become available, we put the necessary resources behind them to ensure great success. This is a monumental step in transforming Pace from a Philadelphia metro independent to more of a regional company in the Northeast."
SRS Acquisitions is ranked No. 13 on this year's ProSales 100 listing with $343 million in total sales during 2010. The company has opened or acquired eight locations so far this year.
