SRS Acquisition Expands in Mid-Atlantic Region, Opens 80th Location

Herndon, Va., location will serve greater Washington metro area.

SRS Acquisition opened its 80^th location in Herndon, Va., the company announced today, further expanding its presence into southern Maryland and northern Virginia. The facility will operate under the Superior Distribution name and will carry both residential and commercial roofing products.

The location will be led by branch manager Brian Burg and will be part of the North district of Superior Distribution. It will service the greater Washington D.C. area, including Fairfax and Loudoun Counties in Virginia and Prince William County in Maryland.

“We are pleased to be entering the greater Washington D.C. area, which is one of the strongest roofing markets in the country,” said Dan Tinker, COO of McKinney, Texas-based SRS Acquisition. “We have amassed a great team of industry veterans who are focused on proving outstanding service in this market and we expect this to lead to further locations in this corridor going forward.”

The roofing material supplier now operates in 27 states under 17 different brand names. The roofing supplier is ranked No. 12 on the latest ProSales 100 listing with 2011 professional sales of $529.2 million.
