
Spahn & Rose Lumber entered an agreement to purchase Still Lumber, a building materials supplier in Conyers, Ga. The acquisition follows Spahn & Rose’s 2021 purchase of Georgia-based Metro Building Products.
“Still Lumber is a natural fit with Spahn & Rose,” Dave Davis, Spahn & Rose CEO, said in a news release. “Like Spahn & Rose, Still Lumber has a long history of providing quality, expert service to contractor and homeowner customers. We’re proud to have Still Lumber join the Spahn & Rose family.”
Still Lumber, founded in 1946, serves the Atlanta metro area and Georgia’s Rockdale County. The company’s customer base includes contractors, builders, remodelers, homeowners, and Georgia film and TV studios. Still Lumber offers custom-cut lumber and a variety of products such as framing lumber, hardwood lumber, joists, and decking materials.
“It’s been a privilege to serve the Conyers and Atlanta area,” Still Lumber co-owner Jason Hill said. “For more than 75 years, Still Lumber has provided contractors and builders with high-quality building materials and outstanding service. I’m confident Spahn & Rose will find new ways to serve our customers.”
Dubuqe, Iowa-based Spahn & Rose was founded in 1904 and operates more than 20 locations throughout Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Georgia.
In February 2019, the dealer acquired Lake Geneva, Wis.-based Dunn Lumber and in February 2020, the company acquired Reinbeck, Iowa-based Moeller & Walter Lumber. Spahn & Rose completed the acquisition of Metro Building Products in August 2021.
