Hardscape building products manufacturer Oldcastle APG acquired Abbotsford Concrete Products. The acquisition expands Oldcastle APG’s product offerings in manufacturing capabilities in western Canada. Abbotsford Concrete Products, founded in 1989, has strong dealer relationships and a proven operational focus, according to a news release from the company.
In addition to the Abbotsford Concrete Products hardscape brand, Oldcastle APG also gains two production facilities to add to its geographic footprint. The increased manufacturing capacity strengthens Oldcastle’s ability to serve the western Canada market with its full line of pavers, slabs, and retaining walls.
“With a shared dedication to hardscape professionals, Abbotsford is a well-established, quality manufacturer that aligns well with our hardscapes portfolio,” said Tim Ortman, Oldcastle APG’s president. “Having Abbotsford join Oldcastle APG will allow us to better serve our customers with broader access to our products and services.”
Oldcastle APG is part of CRH’s Building Products division. CRH operates 3,700 locations in 32 countries worldwide.
