Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company signed a definitive agreement to purchase the assets of Fox Building Supply in Oklahoma City, Okla. Post closing, Mill Creek projects its annual revenues will be in excess of $425 million for the 2022 fiscal year. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021.

“Jim Fox and his son, J.P., are integral to our success in OKC and have agreed to remain engaged with Mill Creek in our continuing operations,” Jeff Dunn, president of Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company, said in a news release. “It is very gratifying to see two strong, independent building materials combine, especially when their management teams and cultures are so strong and synergistic.”

Dunn said, due to the strengths of Fox’s personnel and operations, Mill Creek anticipates minimal change to Fox’s business model in Oklahoma City. Jim Fox, the manager of Fox Building Supply, said he is “confident that the combined resources of Mill Creek and Fox allow us to better serve the entire building community.”

Mill Creek employs nearly 700 people and has additional operations in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
