Lezzer Lumber is set to acquire Green Hills Lumber & Home Center in a deal expected to be finalized April 1. The acquisition represents Lezzer’s 11th lumberyard location. Lezzer Lumber operates 12 retail facilities, a truss manufacturing facility, and four commercial door manufacturing facilities throughout Pennsylvania.

“We are excited to acquire Green Hills Lumber & Home Center,” K.C. Lezzer, vice president of Lezzer Lumber, said in a news release. “Owner Clancy Herr and general manager Jud Kelly will stay and manage the day-to-day operations of Green Hills. This addition gives Lezzer Lumber the opportunity to expand into the city of Reading and Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks Counties.”

Green Hills Lumber’s 13,000 square foot retail facility features plumbing, electrical hardware, paint, lumber, and a large showroom. The company offers plywood, framing lumber, cedar, pine, douglas fir, and treated lumber as well as kitchen, decking, railing, windows and doors, and building products.

Family-owned Lezzer Lumber supplies home material products including lumber, roofing and floor trusses, windows and doors, siding, kitchen and bath cabinetry, countertops, decking, fencing and railing, roofing, molding and millwork products to customers throughout Pennsylvania.
