L&W Supply grew for the fifth time in five months with its Aug. 6 announcement that it has acquired Rose & Walker Supply, a five-unit specialty dealer headquartered in Columbus, Ind.

The 32-year-old Rose & Walker has branches in Bloomington, Lafayette, Terre Haute, and Indianapolis, Ind. Its product list includes drywall, steel studs, vinyl and cement siding, ceiling systems, insulation, and columns.

“This is our fifth acquisition since mid-March and supports our strategy to expand our footprint to serve the professional contractor and builder," L&W Supply president Dan Piche' said.

With this acquisition, L&W Supply--a unit of ABC Supply since late 2016--will now operate 163 locations in 35 states. In June, L&W Supply, acquired DeFoor Acoustical Inc., doing business as DeFoor Drywall and Acoustical Supply, a distributor with operations in Macon and Atlanta, Ga.

In May, it grew by more than 10% in just one deal by acquiring NexGen Building Supply, a dealer specializing in drywall, steel studs, and ceiling systems with 15 branches serving six states. And in March, In March, L&W took over Wright Bros. Supply in California and Ace Supply in Montgomery, Ala.
