Kodiak Building Partners, the no. 14 company on the ProSales 100, has announced that it has closed its acquisition of American Builders Supply, Sanford, Fla., the no. 40 company on the ProSales 100, which it announced in November. In the same press release, Kodiak also revealed it will be partnering with Court Square Capital Partners "to support both internal growth and expansion through acquisition."
“We’ve had great support from our loyal investor group to get us to over $700 million in sales," Paul Hylbert, Kodiak's chairman, said in the press release. "Now, with Court Square’s addition, we are excited about the opportunity to continue to build on Kodiak’s successful strategy and culture.”
"We ... feel that they are great partners for us," Steve Swinney, Kodiak's CEO, said in the release. "We share common values around maintaining strong customer-facing activities at the local level, the importance of a decentralized organization in our business, a broadly diversified product offering, and giving back to our communities."
