Kodiak Building Partners acquired Miller Lumber Company, a third-generation company operating in central Oregon.

“We appreciate the talented behind-the-scenes support that Kodiak brings to our company and have already witnessed the horsepower that is available to us,” Miller Lumber president and CEO Charley Miller said in a press release. “When you have the tools at your disposal that the Kodiak home office provides, you are able to focus more clearly on building your business.”

Miller Lumber president and CEO Charley Miller, vice president Harry Miller, and CFO Connie Marshall will remain in their respective roles post acquisition. Charley Miller and Harry Miller were elected to become a part of the Kodiak Building Partners ownership group.

Miller Lumber operates two lumberyards in Ben and Redmond, Ore., serving contractors within the niche of commercial projects.

Highland Ranch, Co.-based Kodiak Building Partners operates 94 locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
