Kodiak Building Partners acquired two-unit, Colorado-based Alpine Appliance Center. Alpine Appliance Center is a home appliance supplier with locations in Avon, Co., and Basalt, Co., serving homeowners, architects, adn home builders in the Vail Valley and Roaring Fork Valley markets. The company has sells, installs, and services appliances from 30 brands.
“This acquisition will result in more opportunities for the growth of Alpine, which means more opportunities for my employees...my extended family,’ Alpine Appliance Center president Eric Boylan said in a news release.
On April 1, Alpine changed its name to Specialty Appliance, a brand which joined the Kodiak family in 2018, to take advantage of the synergies between the two companies. Boylan will lead Specialty Appliances’ mountain division and report to Specialty Appliance co-presidents Greg Ulvedal and Kirk Dryden.
“Alpine’s work ethics and strategies are perfectly aligned to complement what Specialty Appliance is already doing in Colorado,” Ulvedal and Dryden said in a joint statement. “Kodiak can provide Alpine the support that will help them achieve their future ambition goals, and we are looking forward to being a part of their next chapter.”
The acquisition of Alpine Appliance Center is the 27th made by Kodiak Building Partners.
Highland Ranch, Co.-based Kodiak Building Partners operates more than 80 locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
