Heritage Pool Supply Group has acquired Pool Contractors Supply (PCS), a wholesale distributor of pool and spa products in the mid-south region. Terms of the acquisition were not publicly disclosed.
“Following our recent entrance into the Arkansas market, we are thrilled to expand again in the mid-south region, adding four additional locations and three new states (Tennessee, Alabama, and Louisiana) to our rapidly growing network,” Matt McDermott, president of Heritage, said in a prepared statement.
Memphis, Tenn.-based PCS was founded in 1953 and is currently run by Ed Flemmons and Sam Rogers. Flemmons and Rogers will continue to lead the company’s employee base post-acquisition under the PCS brand name to ensure continuity, according to Heritage.
McDermott said Heritage will put all of its resources behind PCS to “fast-track” its expansion in existing and adjacent markets.
“The entire PCS team is very excited to partner with Heritage,” Flemmons, CEO and owner of PCS, said. “Heritage’s family of independents model and the opportunity to team up with Davis Supply, Aqua-Gon, and Quality Pool Supply is very compelling. We are all very much looking forward to creating a truly unique platform in the industry we love.”
Heritage Pool Supply Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SRS Distribution, was formed in August through the acquisition of Aqua-Gon. SRS and its landscape division, Heritage Landscape Supply Group, first gained exposure to the pool and spa space through its acquisition of Davis Supply in April 2021. Heritage Pool Supply completed the acquisition of Quality Pool Supply earlier in October.
Heritage Pool Supply Group currently operates a family of three distinct local brands encompassing 19 locations across 11 states.
