Heritage Landscape Supply Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of roofing and building products distributor SRS Distribution, acquired MCS Landscape Supply. Denver, Co.-based MCS Landscape Supply is a family-owned distributor of hardscapes and landscape supplies.
MCS, founded in 1972, operates a single branch. To ensure “continuity and consistency” for customers, employees of MCS will remain with the company after the closing of the deal.
“We are excited to welcome the MCS team to the Heritage family. The Company’s location in Denver represents our 14th branch in the state and our first dedicated hardscapes and landscape supply yard,” Matt McDermott, president of Heritage Landscape Supply Group, said in a prepared statement.
McKinney, Texas-based SRS Distribution formed Heritage Landscape Supply Group in February and immediately acquired CPS Distributors and Automatic Supply. Heritage then acquired Normac in July. At the time of Heritage’s creation, SRS said it planned to grow the portfolio group by creating a national network of independent distributors, maintaining the local brand identity and management of the locations it acquires. Heritage has recently opened new locations under the CPS Distributors and Automatic Supply brand names.
