Multiformat, multi-brand Central Network Retail Group (CNRG) acquired the assets of H&M Lumber in West Helena, Ark. H&M Lumber will be rebranded and operate as part of CNRG’s Home Hardware Center brand.

“I am excited about the future of this store with CNRG and Home Hardware Center serving east Arkansas and west Mississippi,” Walter Morris, owner and operator of H&M Lumber, said in a news release. “Home Hardware Center and H&M are a great fit. We both have the same ideas and standards when it comes to how treat our employees and customers, the same standards that the Hornor and Morris families have valued since my father and uncles started the business in 1961”

The H&M Lumber store represents the 24th branch in the Home Hardware Center brand, which is headquartered in Natchez, Miss., and operates in five states. The West Helena branch currently offers a full assortment of building materials, hardware, plumbing, electrical, and paint as well as a drive-through lumberyard.

“H&M has built a great business with an outstanding team,” CNRG senior vice president of operations Raymond White said. “We are proud to have the opportunity to welcome this location and all of the team members in West Helena to Home Hardware.”

Collierville, Tenn.-based CNRG ranked 52nd in size on the 2020 ProSales 100 list and operates 109 hardware stores, home centers, and lumberyards across the country in 15 states. The company’s diverse portfolio meant CNRG generated only 30% of its 2019 sales from pros.
