Beacon Roofing Supply acquired Contractors Roofing & Supply (CRS), a one location supplier of residential roofing materials based in O’Fallon, Mo. The acquisition was announced by Beacon Roofing Supply today and is a part of the company’s growing presence in the St. Louis market as it also has plans for a greenfield location within the city.
“I am thrilled that CRS will continue as a part of Beacon, which can offer CRS’s customers wider access to roofing and other building products while maintaining and enhancing the high level of service that CRS has provided over the years,” said Ken Bennett, CRS’s owner who is leading to pursue other business interests.
Peabody, Mass.-based Beacon Roofing Supply will open a new location next week in St. Louis under its Roof Depot brand name.
“The CRS acquisition, combined with the expected opening on Monday, Aug. 6, of a new Roof Depot branch in St. Louis, gives us a solid presence in the very important and active market,” said Paul Isabella, Beacon’s president and CEO.
Beacon Roofing Supply is ranked No. 3 on the latest ProSales 100 listing with professional sales of $1.88 billion. The company operates 207 branches across 38 states in the U.S. and Canada.
