ABC Supply announced today it acquired the assets of Oregon Roofers Supply, a one-store operation in Portland.
The deal gives ABC its third location in the state's biggest city. The southeast Portland location will remain and existing employees will remain in place, along with branch manager Gary McDonald.
With $5.26 billion in sales last year and more than 490 branches nationwide, Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply ranks No. 1 on the current ProSales 100, but it likely will drop to No. 2 on the next list now that No. 6 Builders FirstSource has acquired No. 2 ProBuild, creating a $6.1 billion operation.
