The nation's largest LBM dealer, ABC Supply, today announced its acquisition of The Standard Group, a roofing distributor with five locations: Trenton, Morristown, Toms River, Tinton Falls, and Manahawkin, N.J.
"The Standard Group is a long-established and highly regarded distributor of building products in the New Jersey market," said Keith Rozolis, president and CEO of ABC Supply. "We are very excited to have this team, with their ‘Yes is our Standard answer’ attitude, join ABC Supply."
With the addition of The Standard Group, ABC Supply now controls 20 locations throughout the state of New Jersey.
ABC Supply has opened and acquired several locations during the past two fiscal quarters. In November, the company opened locations in Philadelphia, and in Newnan, Ga., and in September, it opened branches in Omaha, Neb.; Nampa, Idaho; Clarendon, Vt.; and Charleston, W. Va.
In August, it opened its first North Dakota branch in Fargo. Less than one month before that, in July, the company opened a branch in Billings, Mont., its first for that state, and hired a director of development to hunt for new acquisition opportunities.
