Zeeland Lumber Holdings announced that it has purchased a new facility in Wyoming, Mich., for its Hamilton Truss subsidiary. The facility was a former North Pacific distribution center located in the Southeast section of the city. The Zeeland, Mich.-based LBM company said the relocation will allow Hamilton Truss to double its production and will add up to 40 jobs over the next three years. Hamilton Truss will continue to operate its concepts store in Hamilton, Mich.
Hamilton Truss currently produces roof trusses and, with the new location, will expand into producing floor trusses, wall panels, and other building components. The company merged with Zeeland Lumber and Supply in 2009 and became a division within Zeeland Lumber Holdings.
