Specialty distributor of building materials US LBM opened a new roofing and siding location in Manchester, Conn. The new location will operate as part of US LBM’s Universal Supply division.
US LBM opened a similar roofing- and siding-focused location in nearby Newington, Conn., earlier in 2020. The distributor also recently opened a Hines Supply roofing and siding location in Chicago. The Manchester location represents the ninth roofing and siding greenfield since 2018 for US LBM.
“US LBM has built a strong network of local building materials distributors across New England, and we have a great team in Manchester that understand the local market and have an extensive knowledge of our products,” US LBM chief development officer and Universal Supply president Jeff Umosella said in a news release.
After the Manchester facility opening, US LBM now operates 20 locations across New England, with its divisions in the region including East Haven Builders Supply, Wallboard Supply, Poulin Lumber, Deering Lumber, and Universal Supply.
Buffalo Grove, Ill.-based US LBM ranked 6th on the 2020 ProSales 100 and operates more than 250 locations across the United States. The distributor offers a portfolio of specialty products, including windows, doors, millwork, wallboard, roofing, siding, engineered components, and cabinetry.
