Specialty building products distributor Universal Supply opened a new location in Columbia, Md. The branch will feature roofing, siding, replacement windows, and specialty building materials products.
This marks the 15th total location for Universal Supply and the third Maryland location the dealer has opened in the past year. The dealer opened its first Maryland branch, in Salisbury, Md., in September 2018 and opened a branch in Edgewood, Md., in April 2019. Universal Supply’s other locations are in New Jersey, southeastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
“For more than 54 years, construction professionals have recognized Universal Supply as a trusted resource for top quality building products and services,” said Jeff Umosella, US LBM chief development officer and Universal Supply president, in a public statement. “We have assembled a talented, experienced team of professionals who are ready to serve the local Columbia area. We’re excited to expand our network and provide roofing and siding contractors in Northern Maryland and the greater Baltimore region access to the industry’s best brands.”
Universal Supply, founded in 1965, is a specialty building products distributor and a division of US LBM.
