Tropical Forest Products entered a distribution partnership with Ganahl Lumber. Anaheim, Calif.-based Ganahl Lumber will distribute the full line of Tropical Forest Products’ Black Label premium brand of Ipe and other tropical hardwoods through its 10 California branch locations.

The Black Label lumber portfolio consists of Ipe Cumaru, Jatoba, Garapa, Angelim, and Tigerwood. The lumber can applied in a variety of applications, ranging from decking, cladding, and ceilings to timber sizes and architectural millwork, according to Tropical Forest Products.

“Black Label truly represents the pinnacle of sustainable hardwood,” Brian Lotz, technical director for Tropical Forest Products, said in a news release. “Partnering with brand-focused dealers like Ganahal has been the key to our success.”

Ganahl will stock additional products, including branded fasteners, in the coming months, according to the dealer.

“The level of support we have received for the Black Label brand rates as some of the best in the industry, in my experience,” Ganahl Lumber product manager Deonn DeFord said.

Ganahl Lumber is a dealer of building materials covering southern California. The company owns and operates retail, milling, and factory finishing facilities across the California coast.
