Tando Composites has partnered with Kellogg Supply Company to sell Beach House Shake from the company’s four home centers serving eastern North Carolina and the Outer Banks. Kellogg Supply will offer Beach House Shake’s Atlantica, Pacifica, Sandcastle, and Hatteras styles to customers in the Outer Banks area.
“We are excited to partner with Kellogg Supply Company’s customers to offer Beach House Shake on the Outer Banks,” Ralph Bruno, president and CEO of Derby Building Products, parent company of Tando Composites, said in a prepared statement. “Our ‘Hatteras’ style of Beach House Shake was inspired by the coastal homes of this region.”
Kellogg Supply Company operates home centers in Duck, Kill Devil Hills, Manteo, and Edenton, N.C. The locally-owned and operated business provides a range of building materials, home goods, and lifestyle accessories to DIY and professional customers.
According to Tando, Beach House Shake blends natural color variations, intricate grain patterns, and the genuine saw cuts of natural cedar shake to deliver the appearance of individual cedar shingles.
“Our team at Kellogg Supply is looking forward to showcasing Beach House Shake at our annual Cinco De Mayo Pro-Show and offering our customers a new high-performance composite option to replace natural cedar shingles,” Chris O’Neill, chief financial officer, Kellogg Supply Company, said. “Beach House Shake will fit in seamlessly among the many classic beach houses found throughout the Outer Banks, delivering the beauty and charm of cedar shingles without any of the traditional upkeep.”
