SRS Distribution opened greenfield locations four Florida areas: Jacksonville, Melbourne, Miami, and Panama City. Each location will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products to serve professional roofing contractors, builders, and remodelers.

The Jacksonville branch is SRS Distribution’s second location in the city and the distributor said the location will enhance service to the eastern side of the St. Johns River and the surrounding area. The Melbourne location will bridge SRS’s service between existing branches in St. Augustine and West Palm Beach. The Miami branch, located northeast of the Miami airport, will allow the distributor to provide additional coverage for customers in Miami-Dade County. The Panama City location represents the McKinney, Texas-based distributor’s third branch in the Florida Panhandle. All four locations will operate under the Suncoast Roofers Supply brand name.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of these four greenfields in Florida, the state where the SRS story began 11 years ago. Since the purchase of Suncoast in 2008, SRS has grown from 8 to 23 branches across the state and we are extremely proud of our teams at each of these locations,” President and CEO Dan Tinker said in a public statement. “SRS’s mission is to aid in the growth of the independent companies that we are fortunate to partner with and this is yet another example of our collective success.”

SRS Distribution has opened 17 locations in 2019. The company previously opened locations in Kansas, Pennsylvania, and Virginia in early May, branches in Massachusetts, North Dakota, and Texas in April, locations in Florida, Minnesota, and Texas in March, and greenfields in Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina in February. The company also acquired Pennsylvania-based Presta Contractor Supply in June.

The distributor, which ranked 7th on the 2019 ProSales 100 list, currently operates more than 270 locations across 44 states under 28 distinct local brands. SRS Distribution is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners.
