Family-owned lumber and building materials dealer Riverhead Building Supply announced they will acquire the assets of United Builders Supply, a 4-unit full-service LBM dealer, in a press release today. The acquisition will give Riverhead Building Supply four locations in Westerly, R.I., Richmond, R.I., Niantic, Conn., and Waterford, Conn. and expand the geographic footprint of the New York-based company.
Riverhead Building Supply currently operates 14 stores and 8 showrooms in New York and Rhode Island and is the exclusive manufacturer of Heritage Wide Plank Flooring & Millwork. The deal is expected to close in the next 60 days.

"We are excited to be entering into the hardscape arena with this acquisition and recognize the expertise UBS brings to the table."
