The National Lumber family of companies is expanding into Kingston, Mass. The 6-acre facility represents the dealer’s 10th lumberyard across the northeast region. Mansfield, Mass.-based National Lumber also operates seven Kitchen Views showrooms and 11 Benjamin Moore paint stores.
The Kingston location will be managed by Scott Redfield and extends National Lumber’s delivery reach into the South Shore and Cape Cod regions of Massachusetts. The facility was previously owned by Gypsum Specialists before being purchased by National Lumber and will continue to service drywall professionals, homebuilders, and professional contractors.
The National Lumber family of companies also includes manufacturing facilities under the name Reliable Truss and Components in New Bedford, Mass., and Branford, Conn., plus National Millwork, with a distribution and custom millwork shop in Mansfield, Mass. The 85-year-old company is owned and operated by the third generation of the Kaitz family.
