Mead Lumber announced two locations in the company’s portfolio will change their name to embrace the company’s new branding. Teague Lumber in Kansas City and Rock Creek Lumber in Red Lodge, Mont., will now operate under the Mead Lumber name. The name change streamlines the Mead Lumber brand across its 52 operating locations in nine states, according to the company.

Teague Lumber’s transition comes a year after it was acquired by Mead Lumber in 2022. Rock Creek Lumber was purchased by Mead Lumber in 2016, and the name change aligns with the dealer’s new branding efforts.

Mead Lumber said both locations will continue to operate unchange outside of the name change update.

Mead Lumber operates 52 locations in Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wyoming, including five truss and wall panel manufacturing plants and a countertop manufacturing facility. The company supplies building materials, lumber, trusses and wall panels, millwork, kitchen cabinets and countertops, siding, decking, windows, doors, and hardware.
