McCoy’s Building Supply appointed Joseph Martinez as store manager of its Lubbock, Texas, branch location. The new store will open in November of 2023, with a grand opening celebration planned, according to the dealer.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to open a brand-new McCoy’s store in such a great community,” Martinez said in a prepared statement. “Lubbock is a growing market, and we will be able to serve this area with our signature style of service like no one else can.”
Martinez, originally from Brownsville, Texas, joined McCoy’s 11 years ago working part-time on the sales floor. The new branch manager enrolled in the dealer’s management development program and served as assistant manager in Pharr, Midland, and Weslaco in Texas as he completed his management training. Most recently, Martinez served as the store manager of McCoy’s Odessa store location.
“We have a great team working behind the scenes making sure we will be ready to go once the doors open later this year,” Martinez said. “Our customers can expect top-notch service from a friendly team able to help them with any project, big or small.”
The Lubbock store will carry high-quality building materials and farm and ranch products for a wide range of projects, available in store and online, with ship-to-store and delivery options, according to McCoy’s.
San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s Building Supply operates 85 stores, three distribution centers, and two millwork facilities in three states.
