McCoy’s Building Supply appointed Zach Dauer as store manager of its Lockhart, Texas, branch location. The new store is slated to open in June 2024.

Dauer joined McCoy’s four years ago at the company’s Bastrop location in Texas. Shortly after, he enrolled in the company’s management development program and served as assistant manager in Bastrop and Tomball, Texas, after completing his management training. Most recently, he serve as store manager in Duncan, Okla.

“Customers can expect our team in Lockhart to provide exceptional customer service that is helpful, friendly, and timely, to help them with all their project needs,” Dauer said in a news release. “We’ll aim to provide dependable service to our customers for whatever projects they have.”

The dealer’s Lockhart store’s interior retail area will be arranged according to McCoy’s distinctive easy-in, easy-out design offering tools, paint, household essentials, and more. The store will carry building materials and farm and ranch products for a wide range of projects, available in store and online with ship-to-store options. The location will also include a large, covered, drive-through lumber yard and a fleet of forklifts and delivery trucks.

San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s Building Supply operates 85 stores, three distribution centers, and two millwork facilities in three states.
