The West Coast Lumber & Building Material Association (WCLBMA) elected Mark Ganahl, vice president of Ganahl Lumber, chairman of the board of directors at the association’s annual meeting in San Diego, Calif., Oct. 17-18.
Ganahl has spent more than 25 years in the family business working in all phases of the industry. He was named Anaheim location general manager in 2010. He and his wife Melissa have three children and are active in numerous community undertakings. Mark’s father, Peter Ganahl, was association president in 1982 and Jim Taft of Ganahl Lumber was LACN president in 2006.

Elected to the board as new associate member directors were Tom Knippen, Diablo Timber Company, Napa, Calif.; and Dale Verseput, Select Equipment Sales, Buena Park, Calif.
Holdover dealer directors are Matt Petersen, Mead Clark Lumber, Santa Rosa, Calif.; and Jeff Pardini, Hills Flat Lumber, Grass Valley, Calif.

WCLBMA executive director Ken Dunham, Folsom, remains as corporate secretary.
