Kodiak Building Partners announced the appointment of two new leaders within the company’s portfolio of brands.

Robert Gordon has been named president of Direct Lumber and Door (DLD) while Jim Miller has been appointed president of Premier Building Supply (PBS).

Gordon brings over 25 years of LBM experience to the role, most recently serving as the vice president of operations at Southeast Builder Supply Interest. He has also previously held managerial positions at Builders FirstSource and 84 Lumber.

Miller’s appointment as president of PBS follows the promotion of Chris Borrego to senior vice president, Midwest and South, for Kodiak. Miller has nearly two decades of experience, most recently serving as the general manager of PBS.

“Kodiak has full confidence in the capabilities of both Jim and Robert as they step into their new roles,” Borrego said. “Jim’s extensive experience and leadership skills make him the perfect fit to lead Premier Building Supply, while Robert’s track record of success and strategic vision positions him well to lead Direct Lumber and Door. I have no doubt that they will excel in their respective positions and contribute significantly to the continued success of Kodiak.”
