Kodiak Building Partners, a provider of building materials and services, promoted Willie Hertford to the role of president of Miller Lumber Company, succeeding Charley Miller. Additionally, the dealer elevated Scott Peacock to the role of president of Albeni Falls Building Supply. Kodiak Building Partners said the appointments come as part of Kodiak’s strategic expansion efforts in the Northwest region.

Hertford, who previously served as the vice president of operations at Miller Lumber, assumed his new role as president on November 16. He will oversee the strategic direction and operations of Miller Lumber, following the retirement of current president Charley Miller. Bend, Ore.-based Miller Lumber Company serves residential and commercial customers with a range of products including lumber, hardware, and tools. Kodiak Building Partners acquired Miller Lumber Company in June of 2022.

“I am honored to take on the role of president at Miller Lumber and build on the legacy left by Charlety,” Hertford said in a news release. “This is a very exciting time for our business as we continue to build our production and sales capabilities and further establish our leadership role in our local communities.”

Peacock, the current general manager at Albeni Falls Building Supply, has promoted the role of president of the company. Kodiak said Peacock’s extensive “industry knowledge and exceptional leadership skills” will be instrumental in leading Albeni Falls Building Supply focusing on excellence, customer satisfaction, and growth. Oldtown, Idaho-based Albeni Falls Building Supply is a lumber and building materials supplier serving residential and commercial customers. Kodiak acquired Albeni Falls Building Supply in October of 2022.
