Central Network Retail Group (CNRG), which ranked 79 on the 2014 ProSales 100, today announced it acquired Hiawassee Hardware of Hiawassee, Ga. CNRG now operates five stores in the state of Georgia.
The newly-acquired dealer sells building supplies like lumber in addition to plumbing and electrical supplies, tools, paint, and lawn and garden materials. CNRG will convert the store from Ace to Orgill, upgrade the store's computer systems, and add additional product categories.

“Hiawassee Hardware is a great fit with our strategy at CNRG," said Boyden Moore, president of CNRG. "Dan and his team have built great relationships with their customers over the years. We are excited to invest in this opportunity and help improve Hiawassee Hardware’s ability to take care of their customers’ needs. This will be a great example of the synergy that CNRG was designed to create.”
"We are pleased to announce our new association with Central Network Retail Group," said former Hiawassee Hardware owner Dan Paris, Jr. "I know that they will carry on our tradition of dedication to our customers and community. We thank our customers for their support and generosity through the years and look forward to their continued patronage in the years to come."
