Wholesale distributor of building products and millwork Building Products Inc. (BPI) broke ground on its millwork facility in Evansdale, Iowa. The new location will house all millwork operations for the BPI of Iowa branch and will feature upgraded and state-of-the-art equipment, according to the company.

“We are excited for this addition to our facility and the benefits it will bring to our millwork offering. This is the next step in our commitment to growing and improving our millwork operations,” stated J.J. Robson, general manager of the BPI Iowa and Wisconsin branches.

The company will add 68,000 square feet to an existing structure in Evansdale for the millwork facility. The completed project will be nearly 90,000 square feet and will service customers in Iowa and Wisconsin. BPI estimates the completion date of the facility will be in early 2020.

Watertown, S.D.-based BPI has branches in Fargo, North Dakota; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Evansdale, Iowa; Council Bluffs, Iowa; and Watertown, Wis. The family-owned company expanded into the Wisconsin market in 2017.
