Bliffert Lumber has promoted Josh Brown to the role of chief operating officer. Brown joined the company in 2001, working at the lumber counter at Bliffert Lumber’s Morgan Avenue location.

In his more than two decade career with Bliffert Lumber, Brown has held various positions, including in sales, as an estimator, manager, and executive vice president.

“Josh is a tremendous asset to our team and has been instrumental in our success,” Eli Bliffert, fifth-generation owner of Bliffert Lumber, said. “His expertise in the construction industry is unmatched, and his commitment to our customers have made him a trusted partner both within our company and throughout the community. We consider him family and are grateful to have him as a leader at Bliffert Lumber.”

In the role of COO, Brown will drive operational excellence and support Bliffert’s continued growth, according to the company. He will also continue to oversee various internal departments, including sales, while leading long-term growth strategies and managing daily operations across Bliffert’s 14 locations.

“I’m honored to take on this new role and excited to continue working with a locally-owned company that truly values its employees, customers, and the community,” Brown said. “Bliffert Lumber is an industry leader, and I look forward to helping drive further growth while supporting buildings and contractors throughout Wisconsin.”
