Continuing its recent growth spurt, ABC Supply announced today it has opened a facility in Milton, Del., a fast-growing community on the Eastern Shore near the Atlantic coast.
It's the second ABC Supply store in Delaware; the other is in Stanton. D'Mitri Copeland, a 13-year veteran of ABC Supply who had been an outside sales rep in Stanton, will become store manager.
Today's news comes one day after ABC officially added its 12th store in Pennsylvania with its announcement that it acquired the assets of Alliance Wholesale Supply, an 18-year-old roofing dealer with a single location in Johnstown, Pa.
Current employees will stay at the location, which will be one of just a few ABC Supply yards in central Pennsylvania and the only one within a 50-mile radius of Johnstown.
ABC Supply has been an active M&A player lately. In June, it acquired G & F Roof Supply, a roofing products dealer with stores in Anaheim, Whittier, and Gardena, Calif. And on March 21, it announced the acquisition of Robosson Supply, a siding, windows, and gutter dealer based in Sykesville, Md.
ABC Supply is the biggest company on the ProSales 100, having posted sales of $9.33 billion in 2017, 99% of it to pros.
