ABC Supply, the largest company on the 2014 ProSales 100, announced today it opened its first branch in North Dakota. The new location, located in Fargo, N.D., and managed by Ben Dahl, will sell roofing materials, siding, and other building materials.

“North Dakota’s economy is very strong thanks to the oil boom in the western part of the state,” said Jim Welch, vice president of ABC’s Midwest Region. “Unemployment is very low, construction activity is up and last year the new home market in Fargo was the strongest it has ever been. By locating our newest branch in Fargo, we are bringing the ABC Supply brand of superior service to the contractors who are working in this busy market.”

This has been a busy summer for ABC Supply; on July 9, the company acquired Dealers Service & Supply in St. Louis, then, the company opened its first-ever Montana branch in Billings on July 30.

And the July 29 appointment of Paul Drobnitch as the company's director of development indicate the company isn't done growing yet. Drobnitch will hunt new market opportunities and acquisitions for the dealer, a role which ABC president and CEO Keith Rozolis calls "a key component of our growth strategy."
