Culpeper Wood Preservers, a manufacturer of pressure-treated lumber, appointed Nick Aylor to the role of director of purchasing. He succeeds Jeff Lineberger in the role, who had held the title for 25 years.

“At Culpeper, we have a proud legacy of being a family-owned company, so it only made sense to look inside our own organization when it was time to fill this key role in our operations,” Jonathan Jenkins, president of Culpeper Wood Preservers said.

Aylor joined the company in 2021 in the role of purchaser prior to his promotion. In his new role, Aylor will oversee the company’s procurement processes, develop purchasing strategies, and manage key supplier relationships.

The retiring Lineberger began his career in building materials in 1983 and joined Culpeper in 1999.

“Jeff built a reputation and career by treating people with respect. He was firm but fair. If I could use one word to describe him, it would be ‘integrity,’” Jenkins said. “His vendors knew they could take his word to the bank. Because of this, he helped to shape Culpeper into the company it is today.”

“Our entire team will miss Jeff and we wish him and his wife well as they retire to North Carolina,” Jenkins continued. “At the same time, we are enthusiastic about our future with Nick. supported by a seasoned team, he will continue to enhance the strong relationships that Jeff has cultivated over the years.”
