Culpeper Wood Preservers, a manufacturer of pressure-treated lumber, promoted Nick Aylor to the role of director of purchasing. He will succeed Jeff Lineberger, who had held the same title for 25 years with the company.
“At Culpeper, we have a proud legacy of being a family-owned company, so it only made sense to look inside our own organization when it was time to fill this key role in our operations,” Jonathan Jenkins, president of Culpeper Wood Preservers, said.
Aylor joined the company in 2021 and has served as a purchaser for the company prior to his promotion. As the director of purchasing, Aylor will oversee the company’s procurement processes, develop purchasing strategies, and manage key supplier relationships.
“Jeff has built a reputation and career by treating people with respect. He was firm but fair,” Jenkins said. “If I could use one word to describe him, it would be ‘integrity.’ His vendors knew they could take his word to the bank. Because of this, he helped to shape Culpeper into the company it is today. Our entire team will miss Jeff, and we wish him and his wife well as they retire to North Carolina.”
Culpeper Wood Preservers is a producer of pressure treated lumber in the United States. The company’s products are sold exclusively through independent lumber dealers throughout the mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Midwest, and South.
