Chelsea Building Products entered a distribution partnership with Hood Distribution for its Everlast siding products, according to a news release. Hood Distribution will offer Everlast products at its branches in Louisville, Ky., La Vergne, Tenn., Hattiesburg, Miss., Birmingham, Ala., Jacksonville, Fla., and Orlando, Fla.
“Everlast’s light weight, easy installation, and ability to hold its color really stood out to us,” says Rodney Daily, branch manager of Hood Distribution, Louisville, Ky. “We feel there will be a strong demand for Everlast and anticipate a good response from our customers.”
Everlast is offered in two reveal sizes, 6-7/8-inches and 4-1/2-inches. The majority of the new partnership locations between Hood Distribution and Chelsea Building Products will stock the Everlast 6-7/8-inch plank in seven different color options, with additional color options available upon request.
Hood Distribution is comprised of two entities, the McEwen and McQuesten groups, both founded in the late 1800s. The company supplies building materials to contractors, manufacturers, and retailers throughout New England and the southeastern region of the U.S.
Chelsea Building Products now has partnerships with twelve Hood locations throughout the eastern part of the U.S. The new Hood partners began carrying and distribution Everlast siding in the first half of 2019.
