Central States Manufacturing, a maker of metal building components, roofing, and buildings, promoted Eder Garcia to the role of vice president of operations.

Garcia brings over two decades of industry experience in quality management, production management, and operations to his new role. He previously served as the general manager of operations for St. Peters, Mo., and the managing director for Central States’ Texas division in Seguin and Cedar Hill, Texas.

In the role, Garcia will oversee standardizing company-wide plant operations and ramping up the focus on safety.

“In my five years here, I have had great growth and learning opportunities,” Garcia said. “With a passionate and professional team, I am committed to improving our services even more and continuing to better the well-being of our employee-owners and company.”

Employee-owned, Tontitown, Ark.-based Central States Manufacturing operates 12 facilities and serves more than 6,000 commercial, architectural, post frame, and residential contractors and customers across the U.S.
