Ohio-based building supply firm Carter Lumber expanded into southern New Jersey with the acquisition of properties of the now-defunct DuBell Lumber, The Courier Post reports. The buildings have been vacant since DuBell abruptly announced it was closing its doors in February due to “mismanagement and investment issues.” Family-owned Carter Lumber has more than 160 locations across a dozen states and paid an undisclosed fee for the DuBell properties, according to The Courier Post.
