Canfor Completes Purchase of Elliott Sawmilling Company

The producer's purchase of the South Carolina-based mill was first announced in November of 2018.

British Columbia-based Canfor Corporation announced the completion of its purchase of Elliott Sawmilling Company, a process that began in November 2018, according to a news release. Canfor completed acquiring 49% of the South Carolina-based producer in 2019. Elliott, which produces 100% southern yellow pine lumber, adds over 210 million board feet of production capacity for Canfor.
