Cameron Ashley Building Products launched a new e-commerce app, giving customers 24/7 access and visibility to their account. The app contains similar features to the company’s website, including the ability to shop on the go for over 10,000 roofing, insulation, siding, gypsum, and building material products at any time. The app is designed to take customers from browsing to check out easily and efficiently, according to Cameron Ashley.

“Our new website, which launched in February of this year, was designed entirely on customer feedback we gathered over the last year and a half,” Donny DeMarie, president and CEO of Cameron Ashley Building Products, said in a news release. “Everything that we implemented for our new app was based on how our customers shop and what they told us they’d like to see in a mobile shopping experience.”

Several key features within the Cameron Ashley app include detailed product listings with photos, descriptions, and helpful documents, saved payment information with the GoCart payments application, and full account access to make payments or review order history. Users can utilize new ways to search for their favorite products by scanning product UPCs, using voice search, and picture searching using a mobile device camera. The app also allows users to save their favorite products for later checkout and to easily see which products are eligible for Cameron Ashley’s PLUS Points Loyalty Program. The app can be downloaded from either the app store or Google Play.
