Builders FirstSource (BFS) and BMC Stock Holdings outlined the leadership team that will guide the united companies once the merger between the two has closed in a Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Once the merger has closed, Builders FirstSource CEO Chad Crow will retire and BMC CEO Dave Flitman will take over as CEO of the united company. The merged company will operate as Builders FirstSource.

According to the Form 8-K filing, Tim Johnson will serve as general counsel for the combined company. Johnson currently holds the same title with BMC Holdings. Peter Jackson, currently the CFO at BFS, will serve as the CFO for the combined company. Other leadership appointments include:

  • Dave Rush: executive vice president, IMO leader. Rush currently serves as the COO east with BFS.
  • Jim Major: executive vice president, IMO leader. Major is the current CFO at BMC.
  • Mike Farmer: president, commercial operations. Farmer currently holds the title of executive vice president, operational excellence, people and growth, with BMC.
  • Tim Page: executive vice president, business development & digital experience. Page is the senior vice president of strategy & business development with BFS.
  • Dave Snyder: executive vice president, supply chain. Snyder serves in the same role currently with BFS.
  • Scott Robins: president west division. Robins currently serves as the COO, west with BFS.
  • Mike Hiller: president central division. Hiller is currently the divisional vice president, intermountain with BMC.
  • Steve Herron: president east division. Herron is currently the senior vice president of operations, region 5 with BFS.

In the same 8-K filing, the companies announced the senior vice presidents responsible for overseeing the future of the merged company’s 10 regions:

  • West: Jason Behunin (Northwest); Keith Costello (Pacific); Rob Beardall (Mountain)
  • Central: Mike Mendlik (NW Texas); Dan Schau (North Central); Paul Vaughn (South Central)
  • East: Mike McCrobie (Northeast); Todd Vance (Mid-Atlantic); Steve Buffington (Georgia); Greg Turnage (Florida)

Builders FirstSource and BMC also selected leaders in four other key roles: John Barrow (currently CIO for BFS) will serve as the senior vice president and CIO; Michael Neese (currently senior vice president of investor relations at BMC) will serve as the senior vice president of investor relations; Amy Plasha (currently vice president of human resources for BMC) will serve as the senior vice president of human resources; John Barnes (currently the senior vice president of operations and supply chain at BMC) will serve as the senior vice president & IMO sourcing & supply chain leader. Barrow and Neese will report to CFO Peter Jackson, Plasha will report to general counsel Tim Johnson, and Barnes will report to executive vice president of integration, Dave Rush.

BFS and BMC announced their merger in August. Combined, the companies will create a building materials supplier with over $11 billion in annual sales and a network of 550 distribution and manufacturing locations across 42 states.
